paid in 2 installmentsfor hiring apprentices aged 16 to 18, or 19 to 24 for those with an EHCP or Care Leaver Status.
ADDITIONAL PAYMENT

paid in 3 installmentsfor hiring apprentices aged 16 to 21, or 22 to 24 for care leavers, prisoners or prison leavers
FOUNDATION APPRENTICESHIP INCENTIVE
£3,000
paid in 2 installmentsif the apprentice is 18 to 24 & has been on Universal Credit for over 6 months.

Yes. As the employer, you'll pay your apprentice's wages. Apprentices are employees and are entitled to at least the National Minimum Wage for apprentices, although many employers choose to pay above this.
