Overview

This course covers face fit testing for half mask or a filtering facepiece (commonly referred to as a disposable mask).

Fit testing is a method of checking that a tight-fitting facepiece matches the wearer’s facial features and seals to their face correctly. It is vital to ensure that the protective mask you wear is suitable for your face profile in order to protect you against harmful airborne substances.

Delegates will receive:

-          An explanation of the need for fit testing

-          An explanation of the procedures involved in fit testing

-          Tips and training on getting the best fit with RPE

-          A fit test of a suitable mask

Upon completion of the course, candidates will receive an RPE Face Fitting certificate.
