Looking for Labourers?
As a result of our ‘Routeways into Construction’ and ‘Supported Internship’ schemes, Greenlight has a bank of ready-to-go labourers, all of whom are looking for employment and all of whom already come with up-to-date CSCS cards and basic health and safety awareness. They will have certified Asbestos Awareness and Working at Height awareness training, and a familiarity with site safety principles.
If you’re in the market for a labourer for your firm, contact us, and we’ll find you a suitable candidate from our ever-growing list of available people.
This service is provided as a free bolt-on for our employer partners. We prepare our adult learners well prior to sending them out to employers - they require a pass rate based on the days they spend with us before they can be declared ready for our employers. We are also able to attach an Apprenticeship to the candidate if you would like to go down this route for tickets via CITB funding, etc.
How this service works:
You make us aware you are looking for a labourer, and we check our current candidates against our criteria - location, transport, tickets, and availability. If we find a match for you, the candidate will spend 3 days on a trial at your premises. Once you’re happy with the candidate, you employ them via your normal route.
We only ask for confirmation of continued employment every 12 weeks via email.
