Are you using your CITB pot? This course is eligible for funding if you have less than 100 PAYE staff and you’re up to date with the CITB Levy Return and associated payments.
This two-day programme is for anyone who would like to learn, and understand, more about the signs and symptoms of mental ill-health and how we can each provide first aid through the development of a series of skills taught throughout the programme.
Our courses are taught by an accredited Mental Health First Aid (England) tutor and each participant will receive a participant handbook, pen, ALGEE action card and certificate of attendance. This course does not teach you to become a counsellor
but does support you to feel more confident in guiding people towards appropriate local support services.
The course programme is split into four sections including:
- Mental Health First Aid, Mental Health and Depression
- First Aid for Depression and Suicidal Crisis
- Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders and Self-Harm
- Psychosis, Recovery and Action Planning
For block bookings (6+) we can deliver the programme at your preferred venue and within a timeframe to suit your requirements
